Wakani Adventure Trip

3 days - 2 nights

Reception and transfer to Nauta village by bus. The trip is 2 hrs from Iquitos to Nauta. From Nauta we take a boat down the river about 2 hrs. to Wakani Lodge. The total distance is 200km. We will see the majestic Amazon River. We can visit the tower in the little village of Grau where the Cocama Indians live. You have a panoramic view of where the fresh water dolphins swim. Take excursions deep into the jungle to learn about medicinal plants with the local shaman. Take boat rides to observe different speicies of monkeys, birds, fish, water lillies, amphibians and reptiles.

 

National Reserve - Yanayacu - Pucate River

5 days - 4 nights

Reception and transfer to Nauta Village by taxi. Luch in Nauta. We go up the Maranon River 60 km. in the Pamacari boat. You have an opportunity to see 2 species of dolphins in the Yanayacu River. We will be camping each night. We'll take excursions by canoe to look for parrots, macaws, jays, cotingas, tucans, etc. Up the Yarina control, you can see different species of monkeys and caimans (such as mecanosucus niger and crocodiles 5 meters long), insects, and midicinal plants. We'll go fishing for piranha and visit the village to learn about the local culture.

 

Shaman's Sanctuary

8 days - 7 nights

At Wakani lodge you will immerse yourself for 8 days in the Amazon jungle to meditate, learn and receive positive spiritual energy. This sanctuary 200 km from the city of Iquitos is the perfect place to recharge yourself. We have three Shamans from different tribes sharing different types of healing.
