Wakani Lodge is located on the beautiful Yarapa River, a small tributary of the Amazon River. Nestled in the jungle near the village of Jaldar, the lodge is a quiet eco-retreat where you can learn about the complex ecosystem of the jungle from experienced guides and participate in plant medicine ceremonies with a local Shaman in an authentic comfortable setting.

Comfortable and Authentic Lodging
Enjoy the comfort of running water, flushable toilets and a shower while maintaining the authenticity of traditional jungle construction. The lodge was built and is maintained by the people of the nearby village of Jaldar. All the cooking of the truly wonderful food is done over an open fire in the traditional kitchen.
